About

The initial MVP development started in 2020 as weather visualization for Mapbox GL.

After the idea proved viable and was deployed to the first production website, the development continued as WeatherLayers with the goal of providing a complete solution for weather visualization on the web, which can be integrated with all major web mapping libraries.

In 2021, WeatherLayers was selected as Copernicus Masters 2021 Czech Republic Prize Winner.

Since then, multiple additional features and layers were developed, and further improvements are in active R&D.
